Shalarth Maharashtra is a centralized web-based Integrated System launched by the Govt of Maharashtra for their Employee to download salary slips online. Govt of Maharashtra provides a unique User id for each employee, which is given only to permanent employees. All teachers and nonteachers access the Shalarth Portal (shalarth.maharashtra.gov.in) by login Id and downloading their salary slips for any month from this portal.

If you are a Govt employee of Maharastra and want to login into the portal, then you should follow the steps for login given below
- Firstly, You have to visit the Shalarth Portal – click here
- After that home page will open on your screen.
- On the homepage, you will get the login form.
- Enter your Username, Password, and captcha code.
- Click on submit Button.
In this way, you will log in successfully to the portal.
How to download the Salary slip from Shalarth Portal?
If you are a Govt employee of Maharashtra and want to download your payslip, then you must need to login on to the portal, and follow the steps for login given below
- Firstly, You have to visit the Shalarth Portal – click here
- After that, you need to log in with your UserId and Password.
- After that dashboard will open on your screen.
- On the dashboard, you are required to Go to the Worklist option from the menu.
- After that, you need to click Payroll>>Payroll Generation / View>>Generate / Regenerate Pay Bill.
- After clicking on Generate / Regenerate Pay Bill option, a new window will appear on your screen.
- On the page, select the month and year for which you want to generate the salary bill.
- Now, Choose a bill number, and Select Paybill in the Bill Type.
- Click on Generate button.
- Now You can download the salary slip/ payslip.

I am continuously trying to login in the portal but getting a captcha not matched error even if it is matching. I tried to contact the help desk via the helpline provided on the portal but they didn’t come up with a solution rather they were asking me to give feedback, I mean how disgusting it is that you couldn’t even resolve the tech issue which occurring from your side you are asking for good feedback.
