What is HRMS Punjab?
HRMS Punjab or IHRMS Portal is a customized version of the EHRMS (Electronic Human Resource Management System). It is a government online portal started by the Government of Punjab to provide an online facility to their employees. The Portal has been developed by NIC. The portal can be used only by the government employees of Punjab to view and download their salary slips. The employee has to log in to the portal with a User ID and Password before accessing the portal. Employees can also use the portal for other services like property returns, service books, tax deductions, insurance, employee records, GPF, GIS, Leave, etc.

How to Find the IHRMS Employee Code?
- First, Visit the official HRMS Punjab Portal: https://hrms.punjab.gov.in
- On the Home Page, you will get the option of IHRMS employee code in the menu bar. Click on it.
- On the next page, you have to select your State and enter your DOB and Mobile number.
- Fill in the captcha code and click on “Fetch employee Code”.
- Then the employee code sends to your registered mobile number.
How to log in to the EHRMS Punjab Portal?
If you want to login on HRMS portal with the Login ID then follow the following steps-
- First, Visit the official HRMS Punjab Portal: https://hrms.punjab.gov.in
- On the Home Page, you will get the Login Button in the menu bar. Click on it.
- After Clicking, A login page will open on the screen.
- Now, enter your user id, password, and captcha code.
- Click on the login button.
- Now you are successfully login into the portal.
How to download the HRMS Salary slip?
If any Employees want to view and download their salary slip/payslip from the HRMS Portal. They can follow the process mentioned below. In this process, we are going to explain to you how to download employee salary slips.
- First, Visit the official HRMS Punjab Portal.
- Now, the home page will be open in front of you. Here you will get the option of login.
- After login, The dashboard will be open on your screen.
- Here you have to click the “My service” option.
- After that, you will get the “Payslip” option under the “My Payroll” tab, click on the payslip.
- Now select Month and Year from the calendar and click on the View Report button.
- You will see your salary slip for the selected month (as shown below)
- And You can find all details in your salary slip such as basic salary, allowances, deductions, etc.
HRMS Punjab Reset/Forgot Password Process
If you forget your password and want to reset your password on the HRMS portal. Then follow the process mentioned below.
- First, You have to visit the official website of HRMS Punjab.
- On the Home Page, you will get the Login Button in the menu bar. Click on it.
- After clicking, the login form will open on your screen, where you will Forget the Password button given below.
- After a click, A new page will open. Here you have to select your state and department.
- Enter your user ID and click on the search button.
- After that, You have to enter your registered mobile number, Dob, and email id.
- After that, a new password will be sent to your registered mobile number.
HRMS Punjab Leave Apply
To apply for leave you can follow our step-by-step process given below.
- First Open an official HRMS website or click here
- Now you will redirect to the home page of the website.
- Now you have to log in with your user ID and Password.
- After Login Dashboard will be open on the screen.
- In the dashboard navigate to My Services> My leave services > Apply for online leave.
- After clicking the Apply online leave link you will get two options i.e. Apply Leave and Applied Leave.
- Click on the Apply Leave section for new leave.
- On this page, you can see your leave balance such as how many Earned leaves, Half pay leave, Casual Leave, and Restricted holiday leave you currently have.
- Now fill out the Complete leave application form by providing details such as Type of leave, Leave duration, and Leave reason.
- After that click on the “Submit to reporting Officer” link.
How to declare savings for Tax calculations?
If you want to take the benefits by reducing your income tax amount then you can follow the process mentioned below:
- First Open an official HRMS website or click here
- Now you have to log in with your user ID and Password.
- After Login Dashboard will be open on the screen.
- In the dashboard navigate to My services > My Payroll services > Declare saving under section 80C.
- After the click, a new page will open where you will have to select the financial year for which year you want to save on Income Tax calculation.
- After selecting the year a new page will appear on the screen. as shown below
- Now you have to fill in the amount you have invested in the given schemes.
